The Mama Behind

For every successful man there's a wonderful woman behind. And for every happy kid, there's a loving mama behind. Like wise, for every beautiful mama-and-kid website, there's an affectionate and multi-tasking mama behind.

Hello, my name is SP and I'm the mama behind this website.

And the 2 beautiful boys in the picture are my sons Adriel and Jeriel.

I've been married to dear hubby for more than 10 years now, and together with our 2 sons, we live in Petaling Jaya, the satellite city of Kuala Lumpur, the capital of Malaysia.

Many years have passed since we have our first boy, Adriel, way before year 2000. Boy...it's amazing how fast time flies. It's as if it was just yesterday when I brought Adriel home from the hospital.

And now with just a blink of eyes, he's almost as tall as I am. And with Jeriel coming along, our lives have been sweet and sometimes...well...sour (and bitter!!).

Adriel

I used to looking at Adriel and find myself in him. My genes are so strong that he inherited most of my look and character. He's handsome and fun to be with. 

Some say Adriel is a leader and yet some say he doesn't know what he's doing. Some say he has dual personalities. To me, Adriel is just being himself.

He likes outdoors and he loves babies. He's helpful and always try not to hurt others.

He likes me to pray for him during bedtime. He would close his eyes and smile as I pray, and then grin at me after I say 'Amen'.

But Adriel's a stubborn boy with strong will...he likes to challenge his papa and mama's expectation of him. And to be honest, to get Adriel to listen to you is quite a challenge.

Jeriel

Jeriel is the super star in the family...because he's the baby of everybody! Comparatively, he's more active, talkative and 'fiercer' than Adriel. He's a cutie but sometimes can be a little monster when he's in his terrible mood!

You'll be amazed how organized Jeriel is. His desk is always neat, he'll put all his homework in a folder, his books are neatly arranged...

He's also a hyper hygienic person, always reminds you to wash your hands after handling everything that he deems dirty, especially before touching his stuff.

One thing worries me is that Jeriel can't take jokes. He gets upset whenever he's the subject of a joke, no matter how minor the joke is. The plus point is...you can be sure whatever he tells you, it's no joke!

About This Website

My kids are the ones that inspire me to write. But what really motivated me was those parenting journals published in family or parenting sites. In those journals proud parents detailed out their everyday life with their kids, the ups and downs of their family lives, the laughter and cries, etc.

Then I thought...hey, why have I not thought of that? I can put my parenting experience, my roller coaster ride of parenthood on the web, too!

And this is how I came up with this website.

Summary

To be parents are not easy. And dear hubby and I always try our very best to give our kids the best, to guide them the best we could, and to love them unconditionally.

And to all mamas, I wish you success in bringing up your kids and juggling between work and family.
